BTC Tool Company will resharpen our end mills at discounted prices for our customers. We have the ability to return the end mills you have purchased from us to the original manufactured specifications. We will regrind the flute, the diameter and the end face. These end mills can even be recoated to maintain the excellent cutting characteristics you are familiar with.
We also offer burr resharpening in 2 ways. We offer hand regrinding of burrs for dull or clogged burrs to give them a nice cutting edge again.
For burrs missing teeth we are able to put the burrs back in our CNC grinding machines and regrind the tool like new to a slightly smaller diameter. In other words, a “.500” diameter bur will be ground again to expose all new cutting teeth. The diameter of this burr will now be approximately “.440” diameter but you get a new tool without re-buying
the carbide blank, shank and brazing. It is an affordable option in many cases.
